The 1/2 beef rail weight is usually between 300 - 350 lbs; however, you will receive the processed beef from this, which will typically range from 225-280 lbs. Our beef has been dry aged for 14 days, is USDA inspected, cut, vacuum packaged, and flash frozen. All processing fees and sales taxes are included in the price. After placing a deposit, we will contact you for your cutting preferences. Once we receive the beef carcass weight from our processor, you will be sent an online invoice that can be paid any time, but is due upon product pick up. You will need about 1 cubic foot of freezer room for every 35 to 40 pounds of beef. Ground beef, stew beef, and hamburger patties consolidate well. Roast, briskets, and organ and bone meat are more bulky and will take up more room.
